WOW! This was the best indian food I have had in the U.S. each dish was rich, complex, and delicious. The staff are kind and attentive and the restaurant is spacious and clean. Excellent vegan options, I can’t wait to go back and try more on their menu. Highly highly recommend.
Had tandoori chicken which was delicious, Naan, rice and a vegetable dish new to me which is delicious. Said buffet will be offered soon. I can't wait. The portions were enough for 4 people when I ordered Friday
Best (lamb) biryani I've ever had. Tons of flavour and just the right amount of spice. The naan is dope too. Been coming here every couple of weeks since they opened, never disappointed.
'Best Indian Restaurant in San Pablo, CA' IS true, but doesn't say enough. I WOULD say 'Best Indian food for miles around.' Clean not fancy, as spicy as you choose, dozens of great vegetarian dishes, although I had a tangy goat curry on basmati rice, two samosas and a large Flying Horse beer for the two of us. Mr. Singh's family has only had the restaurant since early in 2024, but everything is working like a fine clock to bring you delicious tastes from the Punjab and beyond, for culinary adventures or just great food & service. Highly recommended!
We both had Thali plates, my wife's vegetarian and mine not. You get to choose 2 things from the menu plus riata, nan rice and rice pudding. I choose Chicken Vindaloo and Karahi Lamb, She chose the Saag Paneer and Chana Masala. And then we ate off of each others plates Everything was excellent. We got there on a Tuesday at about 1:30. There were no other customers there which was a little weird. That made us nervous. But the food was perfect and the portion size was good.
The food is really good. I had not had Gol gappes in several years now and I was so excited when I saw it on the menu. They are the bomb. Everything else we tried was pretty good too.
Delicious food, my friend don't eat spicy found its little spicy so if your don't eat spicy might not be for you we asked very mild. The tikka was grilled to perfection, everything we tried was a hit. Rice could have been warmer, nan was very good too, the place is very clean large of alcoholic and none alcoholic selection. I must say I can't wait to go back. Very nice service thank you.
Good food, perfect spice level (mild/medium). Food was fresh and served hot. I ordered a lunch plate w chicken tuna masala and chicken saag w buttered naan and veggie samosas. All good
Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Had the chicken vindaloo, chicken biryani, garlic naan and rice. Flavors are incredible. Also the garlic naan was way better than other places. Definitely coming back!
Royal Indian is amazing. We almost let our food go cold because we were so busy praising the chef. Great food, great prices, and great people; they’ve done it folks, perfection. I can’t wait to go back.
